Do I need to be HPCSA-registered?

Yes. Every professional on Eliva is verified against the HPCSA register. This protects our users and builds trust in the marketplace.

How much do I earn per session?

85% of the session fee goes to you. Eliva retains 15% as a platform fee. For a R500/hour session, you earn R425.

How do I get paid?

Payments are processed via PayFast. You receive funds within 2–3 business days of a completed session.

Can I set my own rates?

Yes. You set your own rate for 30-minute and 60-minute sessions. Eliva recommends R200–R400 per 30 minutes to stay competitive.

What if a client doesn't show up?

No-show protection is built in. If a client cancels within 2 hours of a session, you receive 50% of the session fee.

Is patient data shared with me?

Only with explicit client consent, collected at booking. Health data is governed by POPIA. You see only what the client approves.
